The Skangass LNG plant

• The LNG plant is situated in Risavika in Sola municipality
• Gas supplies to the plant are from Lyse's high-pressure pipeline from Kårstø
• International port facilities in Risavika harbour
• The LNG plant produces 300,000 t per year (corresponding to approx. 4 TWh of energy)
• Option to double the production capacity by a further 300,000 t per year
• LNG is stored in a 30.000 m3 tank before shipment 
• Delivery start-up scheduled for 2010
