Hafslund Fjernvarme has signed an agreement with Nordic LNG for supply of liquefied methane gas to the district heating system in Oslo.

The agreement is an important milestone for Nordic LNG and represents the start of live LNG shipments to the Norwegian retail market.

The gas will be used for peak loads during the winter months and first delivery will be made coming fall says Gunnar Helmen, Key Account Manager at Nordic LNG and continues, we hope that this agreement will be the start of a long term cooperation between Hafslund and Nordic LNG.
